This name was used starting from the 12^th century and many people back then called this settlement White Church. The Industrial Revolution had positive effects for this region and the population increased two times in the 19^th century and it reached more than 1500. During the WWI and WWII many young people from this village and the surrounding villages gave their lives for peace.

Whiteparish is located about 90 miles east of London. It will take a 2-hour drive to reach this interesting village via M3. Drivers can also use the M4 or A303 and M3.

All Saints’ Church

This Anglican parish church was probably built in the 12^th century. What is known for sure is that it was renovated in 1870 by William Butterfield. This is a Grade II listed building since 1960.

Whiteparish Week

This is an annual event in which many people from Whiteparish and organizations from this area participate. It is usually organized in June and it lasts for several days. People are involved in barbecue parties, various competitions etc. The profits go to benefit All Saints’ Church.

This place is located 5 miles from Whiteparish in Romsey, but it is definitely worth visiting.
