During this time, the population of the manor is only composed of one serf, four villeins, which refer to a tenant that holds land by providing agricultural services, and four bourdars, a small landholder who farmed the edge of the settlement.

High Offley Church

Dedicated to St Mary, the High Offley Church shows Gothic tracery with neat pews made of oak. It consists of nave and aisles, chancel, west tower and south porch. For the most part, it was built with flint and stone, but changes throughout the centuries have altered its original construction. Some areas of the church have also been added as time goes by. The core of the church, for instance, dates back to the 12th century, while the rest of the church was added from the 15th to the 16th centuries. Cock Inn

Originally a farmhouse with a brewhouse, the Cock Inn was converted into a pub. Due to some uncertain years, it became a freehouse until it reopened in 2012, firmly establishing itself as a pub. It is now equipped with common forms of pub entertainment, such as darts. It is just a walking distance from the Shropshire Union Canal.
