Unfortunately, in the year 1831, the main building of the Heythrop Park burned down. At that time, the Heythrop Park was the property of Albert Brassy who requested the architect Alfred Waterhouse to restore and renovate it. The Heythrop Park has also served as academic institutions on two occasions. First, it served as a Jesuit College from the 1920s till the 1960s and then as a training college for the National Westminster Bank from the1960s till 1990s. Today the Heythrop Park is a very popular venue and a resort with high-tech facilities that attracts visitors from all over the world.
