Southport is a large seaside town located in the Metropolitan Borough of Sefton in Merseyside, England. It is blessed with beautiful beaches, a coast line that is unspoilt, and a wide selection of restaurants.

The earliest record of human activity in the area dates back to the Middle Stone Age when Mesolithic hunter gatherers came to the land because of red deer and elk population. The 19th century saw Southport grow quickly and gained a reputation for being a more refined seaside resort than its neighbour Blackpool.
