This is actually a race for gravity powered sidecar outfits, bicycles and soapbox carts that race for about half mile on a steep road. The speed sometimes reaches over 50 mph. This race attracts visitors from every part of the country. There 50 teams on average on every event and more than 3.000 people attend this event.

This church was built in the 12th century, but it was completely renovated in the late 18th century and expanded in the 19th century. This is a Grade II listed parish church of Belchford.
