Llanfaelog is bordered to the north by Llanfihangel-yn-Nhywyn, to the south by Aberffraw, to the east by Pencarnisiog and to the west by Rhosneigr.

Ty Newydd Burial Chamber – a Neolithic chambered tomb. It's located north-east of Llanfaelog and is near Ty Newydd farm. It's in the care of Cadw. It was excavated in 1935 by Charles Phillips and finds included five flint flakes, a burnt flint arrowhead, a small chip from a polished flint axe and nine small fragments of pottery.

Anglesey Golf Club – is an 18-holes links course set in sand dunes and heathland. The course is known for its excellent greens and numerous streams.

Presaddfed Burial Chamber – a listed monument that is comprised fo two Neolithic burial chambers. The monument is found within a short distance north-west of Bodedern. It is maintained by Cadw.
