Llanuwchllyn is a village and parish in Gwynedd, Wales that is located at the head of the Bala Lake (Llyn Tegid). According to the United Kingdom Census 2001, only 834 people live in the village, a majority of which speaks Welsh. Llanuwchllyn Church

Built somewhere between 1872 and 1873, Llanuwchllyn Church is not very old, but it does have evidence of the village’s history. Dedicated to St Deiniol, it houses an old communion plate that tells the story of the Temptation, and a 14th-century effigy of a mail-clad knight. Due to the lack of congregational numbers, the Llanuwchllyn Church has been abandoned and was up for sale in 2008. Serving a backdrop for the church is the Cambrian range of mountains that are sure to provide a spot for Llanuwchllyn flowers. The mountain ranges include Aran Benllyn and Aran Fawddwy.
