John Marius Wilson’s Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales described Eastrington as lying on “the Selby and Hull railway, 3½ miles ENE of Howden.” The village is located in between Goole and Brough and is home to an ancient church dedicated to St Michael.

You might think there isn’t much to Eastrington given its minimal attractions, but it is also located about 20 miles away from Hull City Centre which makes for an exciting side trip when visiting the village.
