The small village of Fifehead Magdalen is a civil parish in Dorset County, which is located in southern England. One of the most historic sites in the village is the Parish Church of St. Mary Magdalene. The village was named after Mary Magdalene, who was said to be one of Jesus’ followers and a witness to his crucifixion and resurrection. In the churchyard of the Parish Church, Sir Richard Newman’s great uncle Thomas Newman was buried their back in April of 1668. You’ll find Thomas Newman’s gravesite near the front entrance of the church. There is a large plaque dedicated to him on the eastern wall. Then on the northern wall, a large funerary monument dedicated to Sir Richard Newman, his wife and his children are mounted there.
