History

The village of South Radworthy is mentioned in the Domesday Book along with neighbouring village North Radworthy. Both sit in the ancient Hundred of South Molton, which is one of thirty-two ancient administrative units of the county of Devon.

In 1066, the Lord was Alward, son of Toki, but changed to William the Goat – also Tenant-in-Chief – in 1086.

The park also has life-sized animatronic dinosaurs.
