The civil parish of Satley is a village located in County Durham, England.  It is only about six miles away from the town of Consett and lies along Road B6296, which is near a major English road called A68. But they became their own civil parish that year after forming the Satley Parish Council. According to a 2001 census, the population of Satley was about 292.
