This village was one of the first in this region that had a pub and a public school. It was used as a station for American soldiers during the Second World War.

This small church was built in the 12th century and dedicated to St. Antonius King and Martyr. Today this is a Grade II listed building managed by the Churches Conservation Trust. It was restored in the 19th century. This church is still active today.

St. Anthony’s Lighthouse

This lighthouse is located on the eastern side of the entrance to the popular Falmouth harbour. The lighthouse was built in the early 19th century by Oliver of Falmouth. It got electrical power in the middle of the 20th century. Today, St. Anthony’s Lighthouse is fully automated.
