The village of Steeple Morden is a civil parish located in Cambridgeshire County, England. It is only 15 miles from Cambridge and just 5 miles from Royston. Steeple Morden falls under the local government district known as South Cambridgeshire. The civil parish is shared with the parishes of Tadlow, Abington Pigotts and Guilden Morden. Together they form the ward of the “Mordens.” This ward is represented by one councillor of the South Cambridgeshire District Council. 

Steeple Morden is just over 3800 acres with a long thin shape that stretches all the way from the River Cam to the ancient track way known as Icknield Way. It shares an eastern border with Litlington and Abington Pigotts, and a western border next to Guilden Morden. Both of these borders follow along river streams, which is nice for people who like to fish or go boating. As for transportation, the village has a railway station called the Ashwell and Morden. It was built near the end of the 19th century at the southernmost region of the parish and has remained open ever since.
