Barnack is a village and civil parish that is located in the county of Cambridgeshire.  The Church of St. John is located in the village and is known for its Anglo-Saxon tower, which has a spire that was added in 1200.  It may be one of the earliest spires in England.  A large Romanesque sculpture of a seated Christ in Majesty is located in the north aisle of the church.  The sculpture had been found under the church floor in 1931.  

A recent Bronze Age discovery was the Barnack burial.  The first man that was buried there had died sometime between 2330 and 2130 B.C.  He had been about 35-45 years old at the time of his death.  The original burial site was only covered by a small barrow, but over time additional burials and cremations were cut into the barrow and the area was enlarged two times.  The final monument was approximately 50 metres in diameter and was the resting place of at least 23 bodies.

The Barnack water mill was built in the 18th century, but all that remains today is the undershot water wheel.  The Barnack windmill is a tower mill that was built out of Barnack stone back in 1797.  The mill has not been used commercially since 1914, however, the mill was restored between 1952 and 1962 and all of the machinery inside the building is complete.

Barnack Hills and Holes is a wildlife site that came from the rubble of a mediaeval quarry.  The wildlife site covers 22 hectacres and half of all of the limestone grassland that is in Cambridgeshire is located here.  Barnack Hills and Holes was designated as a National Nature Reserve in 1976.  There are over 300 different types of wild plants in the nature reserve, including the rare pasqueflower.  The best time to visit the reserve is during June and July, when the flowers are mostly all in bloom.  This is when visitors can enjoy the orchids, rockrose, wild thyme, quaking grass, ox-eye daisy and many more flowers.
