East Shefford, also known as little Shefford is situated in West Berkshire, England is a quaint little town with almost just one major attraction. The church of St. Thomas is a famous place in this charming little village. In 1926, the Parish of East Shefford came together with the Parish of the West shefford, to be collectively called as the Parish of Great Shefford.

The church has been recorded among several other places in the National Heritage List for England as a Grade I building. The exterior of the church have an old charm to it and its simplicity is alluring in so many ways. Just like the exterior, the interior too does not fail to attract us with its simplicity. The main attraction in the church is the Alabastar Effigial Monument of Thomas Fettiplace and his wife Beatrice who belonged to the royal family of Portugal. The north wall has an altar tomb to John Fettiplace and his wife Dorothy. The writings inside the church are Norman. The wall above the Chancel arch has 12th century paintings whereas all the others have painted texts.
